These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to any booking or course — including camps, clinics, training sessions and tournaments — provided by Skyball BVC. Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking. By completing a booking form and clicking "Continue" you agree to be bound by them once a contract is formed in accordance with Clause 2.

1. Information About Us

1.1For queries relating to your booking or for any other reason, contact us at info@skyballclub.co.uk.

2. Your Booking

2.1All training sessions and tournaments are booked via the Spond application. By confirming your attendance through Spond, you are submitting a request to book a place on the specified course or event. All requests are subject to acceptance by us and we will confirm your place via Spond or by email once payment has been received.

2.2A legally binding agreement is formed between you and us once your booking is confirmed via Spond. The agreement is always conditional on payment being completed in full.

2.3Course details are subject to change up to the start of the course. We advise you to check the website regularly. Changes made less than 7 days before the start date will, where possible, also be notified directly by email or via the Spond application. If you are under 18, your guardian's or next of kin's contact details will be used for communication.

2.4By making a booking you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and a UK resident.

3. Cancellations

3.1If we have to cancel a course we will let you know as soon as possible and will try to offer a place on an alternative course of the same value wherever possible. If we are unable to provide an alternative, we will offer a full refund.

3.2If you need to cancel more than 7 days before the start date, we will attempt to transfer your booking to another course of equivalent value subject to availability. If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before the course receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the course receive no refund. Full refunds within 7 days may be granted at our discretion.

4. Our Staff

4.1All of our coaching staff who work with juniors have been subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, safeguarding training and hold suitable coaching qualifications. At least one of them will always be present on the beach during training.

5. Photographs

5.1Photographs and film recording take place at our events and will be used for promotional purposes by the club, including on social media. You will be asked to confirm your agreement in the membership management application before these take place.

6. Liability

6.1We hold public liability insurance cover with Volleyball England Organisation.

6.2We do not accept liability for loss or theft of personal belongings that occurs during a course. Bringing valuables is at your own risk.

7. Complaints

7.1We are committed to ensuring you and your child have a great experience. If you are not entirely satisfied, please contact the Head Coach of the course in the first instance. If your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction, contact us at info@skyballclub.co.uk with full details and we will aim to resolve it as quickly as possible.

8. Medical, Dietary & Other Requirements

8.1It is your responsibility to inform us at the time of booking if you or your child:

  • Has specific dietary requirements
  • Is taking medication
  • Has allergies
  • Has any special needs that will affect participation in the course

8.2Our staff are not permitted to administer medicines. You are responsible for ensuring any medicine is available and taken correctly.

8.3We maintain a register of children attending each course. It is your responsibility to sign in at the beginning of each day and to provide details of whoever will be collecting your child at the end of the day.

9. Data Protection

The website is operated by Skyball Beach Volleyball Club. When you make a booking, Skyball collects and processes the personal information you provide in order to deliver the services you have requested. Your data is held only by our organisation and will not be shared with any third parties. Consent will be sought before we contact you for marketing purposes. 10. Membership

10.1Membership runs for one year, starting 1 April and finishing 31 October.

10.2Members receive communications via email and other social media channels with information about the club and upcoming events. The Spond application is used for all event, training and course updates.
